The name “Sojourners” reminds us that we are foreigners here on earth, and that our citizenship is in heaven. Our teaching focuses on beholding the wonderful things of the Old Testament, with its fulfillment and real-life application in the New Testament.

Derek Thomas

Dr. Derek Thomas is senior minister at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina. He is the Robert Strong Professor of Systematic and Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia. Derek also serves as editorial director for the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals and is the author and editor of several books, including How the Gospel Brings Us All the Way Home and Praying the Saviour’s Way: Let Jesus’ Prayer Reshape Your Prayer Life.
