Sundays in July

"The church is marked by its unity, shared life, commonality, and community—in a word: fellowship. Fellowship is critical to the life of the church. Christianity is not a spectator event that happens on Sunday. It is a common, shared life with other believers."
— John MacArthur

During the month of July, our regular Sunday morning Fellowship Groups go on hiatus. Designed to be a time of refreshment and fellowship with our Grace Church family as a whole, these Sundays give our congregation the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of teaching from our pastors and elders, professors at The Master’s University, and guest lecturers for the Doctor of Ministry Program at The Master’s Seminary. Our prayer is that you will be refreshed and renewed by these times of equipping.

Teachers

George Crawford

George has been at Grace Church since 1977, and has served as an elder since 1996. George and his wife, Ann, have served in both student and adult ministries at the church for a number of years. A graduate of Occidental College and the UCLA School of Law, he has served as a prosecuting attorney and administrative law judge for the state. George has also served as an adjunct faculty member at The Master’s University since 1991. George and Ann met at Grace Church and were married here after serving in the young singles ministry. They have two married sons, and two beautiful grandchildren.

Rick McLean

Rick graduated from The Master’s University with a degree in Christian education and from The Master’s Seminary with an M.Div. degree. For six years, Rick served in an outreach ministry of Grace Church to the homeless in L.A., and then served in the Sunday School ministry for six years. Since 2002, he has been privileged to pastor Special Ministries, a ministry for the mentally and physically disabled people of the church. Rick also serves in the Pastoral Care Ministry, and is blessed to have his wife, Janelle, to serve alongside him in these ministries.
