Ministry

Men of the Word

Men of the Word exists to glorify God by equipping and encouraging men to fulfill their God-ordained roles as leaders in the home, the church, and the world.

This is accomplished by providing biblical instruction, personal discipleship, genuine fellowship, and spiritual accountability through our Men of the Word Bible study which meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7 pm in the Family Center at Grace Church.

This weekly Bible study provides a forum where men of younger faith interact with and receive wisdom from those who are more mature in Christ, and serves to prepare men for more faithful service to the local church and a more effective witness to the world.

No registration is required; all men are welcome to attend.

Alex Montoya

Alex Montoya has been the senior pastor at First Fundamental Bible Church in Whittier, California, since 1972. As a result of his passion for evangelism and discipleship, First Fundamental has planted more than a dozen churches in southern California over the past several decades. In recognition of his long-time work as pastor, author, and professor, pastor Montoya was awarded an honorary doctor of divinity degree by The Master’s Seminary in 2008.
