"The church is marked by its unity, shared life, commonality, and community—in a word: fellowship. Fellowship is critical to the life of the church. Christianity is not a spectator event that happens on Sunday. It is a common, shared life with other believers."
— John MacArthur
During the month of July, our regular Sunday morning Fellowship Groups go on hiatus. Designed to be a time of refreshment and fellowship with our Grace Church family as a whole, these Sundays give our congregation the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of teaching from our pastors and elders, professors at The Master’s University, and guest lecturers for the Doctor of Ministry Program at The Master’s Seminary. Our prayer is that you will be refreshed and renewed by these times of equipping.
Brian grew up near Kansas City, Kansas, and after completing his undergraduate degree, he came to The Master’s Seminary in 1989 where he earned his M.Div. degree. Brian has been on staff at Grace Community Church for thirty-two years, and for the past twenty years, has served as an associate pastor of GMI (Grace Ministries International), a ministry that provides care and support to our faithful missionaries. Brian also serves on the ECHO (Elders’ Council Handling Outreach) board, as an elder in the Steadfast fellowship group, and as an adjunct professor at The Master’s Seminary. Brian and his wife, Carole, met at The Master’s University, married in 1991, and have been serving together in ministry since. They have two children.
