A Study in 1 Peter

Christians are not at home in this world. That is only becoming more obvious as our culture grows increasingly hostile to Christianity. As our freedoms continue to be threatened, we are starkly reminded that we are “aliens and strangers” in a foreign land. While this may be new territory for us, it was normal for the first Christians to face rejection and tribulation from the world around them. Peter wrote his first letter to Roman Christians on the run for their lives, teaching them how to stand firm in the face of hostility—both from their rulers and even their neighbors. As we face increasing opposition from our world, we need to be reminded of these lessons as well.

Grace Pulpit

Centered on the Word of God, Sunday worship services are the core of spiritual life at Grace Community Church. Pastor John MacArthur preaches on Sunday mornings, and our pastoral staff preaches on Sunday evenings on a rotational basis. Here you can find the sermon recordings from these services.

Video recordings of the most recent full services can also be found on the Grace Media App.
