The Wonder of the Word

Sermons in this series

5 Messages

The Bible is an amazing book. It is simple enough for a child to understand, yet so profound no team of scholars could ever exhaust the depths of its riches. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, it is unlike any other tome or volume. Living and powerful, it actively convicts the human heart, piercing the soul and renewing the mind. A precise implement in the hands of its divine Author, it never returns void, for God Himself energizes and empowers it. Its content is more precious than anything else, for it alone contains the words of eternal life. For those who know its truth, it is an immeasurable treasure. As Psalm 19 declares, “The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold.”
