Teachers

Carl Hargrove

Carl ministered at Grace Church from 1990 to 1993, was ordained, and pastored two churches in the Los Angeles area from 1994 to 2014 before returning to Grace Church. He is passionate about foreign missions and travels internationally yearly, supporting leaders and volunteers in various countries. He is the co-founder of the African Revitalization Centre. Carl serves on several missions boards and holds a certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). He directs the Grace Advance ministry of Grace Church, which provides pastoral leadership for church planting and revitalization in North America. Carl has earned degrees from The University of Cincinnati and The Master's Seminary (M.Div., Th.M., D.Min.), and he serves as an associate professor of pastoral ministries and church relations ambassador at The Master's Seminary. Currently, Carl co-pastors the Anchored fellowship group. He and his wife, Joanna, have five children.

Tom Patton

Tom has been on staff at Grace Church since 2001. He has served as pastor over membership, and currently serves as pastor of congregational care ministries, providing pastoral support to individuals and families during times of trial through counseling, visitations, and discipleship. Tom earned his B.A. at The Master's University and his M.Div. at The Master's Seminary, where he also serves as an adjunct professor. Tom co-pastors the Joint Heirs fellowship group. He and his wife, Lori, have three wonderful sons.

John Street

John is a professor of biblical counseling at The Master’s University and Seminary, and he serves as the chairman of the Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling program. Prior to coming to this program, he taught at Cedarville and Cornerstone Universities. John also served as a pastor for 22 years, and as a church-planter in Ohio. He completed seminary at Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, and earned his doctoral degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently, he is an elder at Grace Church and serves as co-pastor of the Joint Heirs fellowship group. John and his wife, Janie, have four children and six grandchildren.
