On August 5, 2018, FaithBuilders and Doulos joined together to open up new opportunities for all ages to study, grow, and be shepherded under godly leadership centered around the Word. This group will be called Anchored, in reference to Hebrews 6:19—“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul…”—and we trust it will be another expression of God’s faithfulness to mature our church family. Austin has served in student ministry for over a decade. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico, he moved to Los Angeles to attend The Master's Seminary in 2005. After serving as the junior high and high school pastor, he now serves as college pastor. He and his wife, Merilly, have three daughters and a son.
